1. Come up with a concept
Something innovative, that tells a story and captures the consumer.
2. Set SMART objectives
This allows you to measure the success of the campaign at the end.
3. Segment your audience
Who is it going to target? How are you going to target them?
4. Implement a content calendar
Set a timeline with send and test dates of each email.
5. Write engaging subject lines and text previews
To entice the consumer to open the email
6. Visually mock up each email
Have a goal in mind for each email and design the email to drive these
7. Use personalisation to make you sound human
Use data from their website activity or previous purchases for recommendation
8. Be innovative!
Use your imagination and do something to make yourself stand out.
